Student Alumni Relations Council Donation Request

BYU Student Alumni will contribute $500 at least once a year* to each college to be used for an event connecting alumni and students for mentoring and networking.

*$500 may be available for additional events depending upon college needs and available Student Alumni funds. These will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Event guidelines:


  1. Events should focus on connections between successful and/or inspiring alumni and motivated students.
  2. The Student Alumni Relations Council (SARC) representative should work together with the college and Alumni College Director to plan, organize, and promote the event.
  3. Stories of success and inspiration of Alumni attendees should be entered into rise.byu.edu.
  4. The BYU Student Alumni or Alumni logo should be used in the promotion and any distributed materials. Request logos from studentalumni@byu.edu.
  5. Following the event, the SARC representative should complete the Event Evaluation Form to report successes and ideas for improvement. In addition, alumni attendee contact and bio information should be submitted to update alumni records and monitor the number of alumni serving students.
